About Vie Ritchie

Vie Ritchie brings imagination and decades of life experience to animate every character.  Starting her professional career behind the scenes in television and film, she learned the importance of leadership and team effort in producing quality work to deadlines. She completed graduate degrees and worked for city and county governments for a few years, and later, was a university professor of urban planning and public policy for over 20 years. The transitions between these career moves were times of exploration through formal education and various jobs including agriculture lab assistant, server, radio show assistant, hotel night clerk, warehouse worker, and substitute elementary school teacher, among others.


Vie Ritchie enjoys the study of people, their movements, accents, and behaviors, and taps her archive of observations for the creation of a character. She views observation as science and expression of observations through characters as art. She sees unlimited opportunities to grow as an actor and a human being. Vie has lived in the west, Midwest, and southern regions of the U.S. and has traveled throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and parts of Africa. She currently lives in Southern California.
